As suggested, have "Participate in client beta" checked in the big-picture settings. Since writing this, I've gotten Diablo 3 working, which also uses a launcher. I'm eager to get this up and running, as I'm pretty sure that I've got a setup that would work well for me. This one may be more of a Blizzard thing, but I wanted to try this first. If I add "SC2Switcher.exe" my custom buttons are recognized in-game, but I cannot log into my account. This script doesnt work perfectly on my play on linux, but I still was able to install StarCraft 2 and run it well. If I add "SC2Switcher_64.exe" (which will launch the game without the Blizzard launcher), I can log into my account, but my controller is un-customized. If I add "Starcraft II.exe," the controller changes will work on the launcher, but not in the game (after hitting PLAY). I've added Starcraft 2 to Steam thru the "ADD A GAME" button and selecting "BROWSE," but Starcraft 2 doesn't always know I've tryied to customize my controller.
